Pilgrim United Church in Colwood (on the West Shore of Victoria BC) is a community of faith for people wanting to experience God's presence and love. Here you will find a warm welcome, worship that is joyful and relevant, and an invitation to follow in the way of Jesus.  We are younger and older, partnered and single, with kids and without. We share the message that all people, especially those who have traditionally felt excluded, are part of God's family. In the midst of the busyness and pressure of daily life, we seek to carve out times and places to remember that we are in the presence of God at all times. That we are more than consumers, voters, or any of the roles we fulfill -- we are, at our core, children of God. Everyone is welcome. We provide opportunities and training for people to grow in their spirituality and to care for one another. We have an active Healing Touch Ministry, a Prayer Group, discussion groups, and we are committed to working for social justice in the world. We like to have fun together. It could be a camping trip, games night, or even just a potluck lunch after worship on Sunday. We are a community of all ages who enjoy spending time together whenever we can fit it into our schedules. We
believe children are a great gift of God. Through worship and learning opportunities, children and youth engage the Bible and our Christian tradition, and are respected as full participants in our community. Whether adult, child or youth, we are each invited to wrestle with hard questions, and find answers that make sense for us.
